Roman Christianity's organization was based on bishops' and archbishops' control of territorial units called diocese. The word diocese comes from a Greek word which means 'administration'. In the Middle Ages, some bishops even held political power aside from their religious power. A diocese is further divided into parishes which fall under the management of priests.

The Beatles were formed in England in 1960 in Liverpool. The band members consisted of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. The are regarded as the most successful and influential band of all time. The beatles were the foundation of the evolution of pop music and developed it into an art form and a culture in the 1960s.

The beach boys were a boy band in the 1960s who defined the 1960s as a potent pop act. They are considered the one of the most influential act of the rock era with their vocal harmonies and early surf songs. The band drew inspiration from jazz vocal bands, 1950s rock and roll and black R&B.
