The Punic Wars were formed by three wars, that last about 100 years, between Rome and Carthage. At first, Carthage controlled the Northern territories of Africa and the Iberian peninsula, but Rome was victorious and conquered all these territories. After these wars, Roman citizens occupied the former Carthaginian territories, but they did not have to buy large farming states. Thus the wrong choice is option B, it allowed many Romans to buy large farming estates
