You want your readers to be satisfied with your piece, if they aren't that'd be a pitfall for the author.
Answer:No he didn't because his report was on baseball, and he showed pictures of other sports which had nothing to do with his topic. He probably confused his readers because of this, And if he wanted to to show how important baseball was he should have showed pictures of baseball not other sports.
