My explaination of tone in poetry would be the mood the author sets. For example, if he was using harsh words, the tone would be negative. Tone is most like an attitude towards something

The tone is the author’s attitude toward the subject or the way the author is talking about the subject. my english teacher said you can remember it by thinking of using a tone in your voice, like when you’re mad you may come off in a more angry way. hope this helps!

Literature can be shaped by its historical context. What is
Ira Lisetskai [31]

The correct answer is A. The political, ethical and social influences that characterize a  particular time and place.

Explanation:

In literary works such as novels, stories, or poems, the historical context includes factors such as the political, economic, ethical, and social situations that influenced the literary work. Additionally, these factors are related to the general context and situation of a specific geographical location during a specific time. For example, in the case of the famous book "Tom Sawyer" by Mark Twain, this is set in Missouri during the 1840s, and factors such as politics, society, and economy, as well as the place and time are the historical context.
