It should partially be from the government, they're willing to help to an extent. Other ways of receiving help would be friends, family or taking donations for certain things, just be sure you won't owe money back, a bad idea would be loans.

Well if anything Americans should get help from the government and companies they work for.. Companies need to stop the practice of hiring people part-time so they can profit more by not paying for health benefits and sick leave.
Most companies don't pay wages that people can live from.It doesn't mean we need more jobs it means we need work. Most companies do not pay the value of the employees work, which is why someone can work full time and still be in poverty. If the government would give good tax breaks to companies who have a stable employment rate, this would make hiring an incentive.
The government can also Invest in community solutions,or a fund such as a safety net that supports economic mobility. If they did something like this then impoverished people wouldn't need to rely on the government anymore.

Which state was a part of the Louisiana Purchase?
ANTONII [103]
The United States bought 828,000 square miles of land from France in 1803. The French controlled this region from 1699 until 1762 when it became Spanish property because France gave it to Spain as a present, since they were allies. But under Napoleon Bonaparte, France revived the aspirations to build an empire in North America so the territory was taken back in 1800. However, those big plans were not meant to be because Napoleon needed to concentrate on preparations for war with the British Empire and so the land was sold to the United States. The price was 15 million dollars.

The purchased territory included the whole of today’s Arkansas, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Nebraska, parts of Minnesota and Louisiana west of Mississippi River, including New Orleans, big parts of North and northeastern New Mexico, South Dakota, northern Texas, some parts of Wyoming, Montana, and Colorado as well as portions of Canadian provinces Alberta and Saskatchewan.

PLS help asap Why would this map help Booth persuade politicians in London to help improve the lives of the poor?
djverab [1.8K]

Ship owner Charles Booth wanted to disprove socialist claims that one-fourth of Londoners were impoverished. Although he first assumed this was overstated, his 17-volume study eventually showed that the real number was far higher: one-third.

This is further explained below.

What are politicians?

Generally, A person who is involved in party politics or who either has or seeks to occupy an elected post in the government is referred to as a politician. Laws that govern the country and, by extension, its inhabitants are proposed, supported, and rejected by politicians, who themselves establish these laws. To use a general definition, a politician is somebody who aspires to hold influential political positions inside a government.

In conclusion, Shipowner Charles Booth set out to disprove the socialists' claims that one-fourth of London's residents were living in poverty. He believed that this was overstated, but the results of his investigation, which were published in 17 volumes, showed that the actual amount was considerably higher, at one-third.
