Such transfer of heat is called Thermal conduction. It reffers to the process of transfer of heat that happens while there are collisions of mircroscopic particles (molecules, atoms and electrons) and electrons are movings within an object as it transfers disorganized kinetic and potential energy through it, hence producing heat.
