Mischa wrote the quadratic equation 0 = –x2 + 4x – 7 in standard form

The standard form of quadratic equation is

y= ax^2 + bx + c

When y=0 then the standard equation becomes

0= ax^2 + bx + c

Now we compare the given equation 0 = -x^2 + 4x - 7  with 0= ax^2 + bx + c and find the value of a, b,c

-x^2 can be written as -1x^2

0= ax^2 + bx + c

0 = -1x^2 + 4x - 7

a= -1 , b=4  and c=-7

The value of c is -7

F you have $18 and a 15% markup, what is the retail price?
Serggg [28]
OK so first I like to find what 10% is which in this case would be 1.8 and to find the other 5% you divide 1.8 by 2 which gets you .9 if you and 1.8 and .9 you get 2.7 and if you add 2.7 to 18 you get 20.7 which is your retail price

Morgan works at a store that sells clothing accessories. The supply function
jarptica [38.1K]

Answer:

The number of supply of base balls is 22

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

P = Q - 4

Price = $18

Required

Number of supply

The relationship between price and quantity is given to be P = Q - 4 where price is represented by P and Q represents the quantity.

To get the quantity supply when price is $18, all you need to do is to substitute 18 for P in the above equation;

Thus, giving:

18 = Q - 4

Make Q the subject of formula

Q = 18 + 4

Q = 22 quantities

Hence,  the number of supply of base balls is 22

which equation results from isolating a radical term and squaring both sides of the equation for the equation
damaskus [11]

Answer:

D) c - 2 = 25 + c + 10√c

Step-by-step explanation:

The given equation is \sqrt{c - 2} - \sqrt{c}  = 5

\sqrt{c -2} = 5 + \sqrt{c} \\

Taking square on both sides, we get

Here we used ( a+ b)^2 = a^2 + b^2 + 2ab formula.

c - 2 = 5^2 + (√c)^2 + 2(5)√c

c - 2 = 25 + c +10√c

Answer: D) c - 2 = 25 + c + 10√c

Thank you.
