Answer:

<h3>He suggested that they/we should go.</h3>

Explanation:

When the exact words used by a speaker are reproduced, it is called direct speech. When the meaning of a speech is conveyed in the reporter's word, it is called <u>Indirect</u> speech.

<u>General</u><u> </u><u>Rules</u><u> </u><u>(</u><u>Applied</u><u> </u><u>in</u><u> </u><u>each</u><u> </u><u>sentence)</u>

  • <u>While</u> changing direct into indirect speech, inverted comma should be removed.

  • If reporting verb is in present or future tense, tense of reported verb isn't changed

For eg:

John says," I go home".

= John says that he goes home

  • If reporting verb is in past tense, tense of reported speech is changed as follows:

Simple present -----> simple past

Present continuous ---> past continuous

Present perfect -----> past perfect

Present perfect continuous--> past perfect

continuous

Simple past --->past perfect

Past continuous--> past perfect continuous

Example:

Sophia said, " I went home".

= Sophia said that she had gone home.

  • Pronouns of reported speech are also changed according to noun or pronoun of reporting verb.

Example:

Olivia said to me, " You speak English"

= Olivia told me that I spoke English.

Note: Third person of reported speech is never changed.

Example:

Anna said to you , " I lost my pen".

= Anna said to you that she had lost her pen.

If 'we' is used in reported speech, instead of human beings or mankind, at that time 'we' is not changed.

Hope this helps...

Schach [20]

Because genetics is now progressing so rapidly.

The subordinate clause starts with a subordinating conjunction and contains the entire dependent clause. Because is a subordinate conjunction and makes the clause dependent because you need to know what's next. Hopefully answer choice D has all the right pieces. The main clause is "it is revolutionizing medical research". This clause is a complete idea by itself and is not a subordinate clause.
