It is false that a polyglot is a map of language  distribution.

<u>Explanation:</u>

Polyglot is not a map which shows the distribution of languages. Rather Polyglot is a person who knows different languages and is efficient in the use of these languages.

A person who is said to be a polyglot should at least know five languages and should be able to use these languages in a fluent way. A very few population which is Less than 1% of the population in the world are said to be a polyglot and know so many languages.
