The correct answer is B.

“And then he said, ‘Mind your own business.’ The nerve!” she said.

This answer is correct because:

-It separates the quotation inside the dialogue with a comma.

-It starts the quotation with a capital letter.

-The exclamation mark is inside the double quotation.

<span>B. It reminds readers that they each have a personal interest in America’s success in the war.

It says "You" a bunch of times, and "</span>you are devoted by the enemy to plunder and destruction" by "<span> Howe, the chief of plunderers" (which was their enemy at the time".

When do we use 'has' and 'had' together in the same sentence? Can You please give me examples with explanation?
Andre45 [30]

Answer:

1 . I have had lunch .

2. He has had lunch .

3. I had had lunch before you came.

Explanation:

This is one of the most confused about combinations as per my experience .I would firstly tell a bit of grammar part and then clarify with real day to day usage .

THE CONFUSION IF AT ALL COMES IS BECAUSE OF TWO DIFFERENT USAGES OF WORD “HAVE” . THEY LOOK AND SOUND LIKE SAME BUT PLEASE TREAT THEM DIFFERENTLY . So let's separate them like one of them is same like “ “AM,ARE,WILL,SHALL, “ the helping or auxiliary verbs ,and the second. “have “ is just like “ drive, eat, drink, watch” the main verb “ or I prefer to call “ Action”.
