How would anaerobic conditions (when no O2 is present) affect the rate of electron transport and ATP production during oxidative

phosphorylation? (Note that you should not consider the effect on ATP synthesis in glycolysis or the citric acid cycle.)

in the electron transport chain of oxidative phosphorylation oxygen(O2) is the final electron recipient( as it is very electronegative). This electronegativity of oxygen is how the electrons move down the chain and hydrogen ions are pumped leading to ATP production. When O2 is not present these processes don’t occur. Thus the cell can only depend on glycolysis for energy(ATP production).

Hope this helps:)

What does heat flow inside Earth move the tectonic plates?
AleksandrR [38]
Plates at our planet's surface move because of the intense heat in the Earth's core that causes molten rock in the mantle layer to move. It moves in a pattern called a convection cell that forms when warm material rises, cools, and eventually sink down. As the cooled material sinks down, it is warmed and rises again.

Which adaptation would be most useful to an insect that lives in the grass?
amid [387]
The adaptation that would be most useful to an insect that lives in the grass is A. green coloration. This would be a useful adaptation for them because now they could camouflage easily - grass is green, and if they are also green and hiding in grass, nobody can spot them easily, which is a perfect way for them to hide from predators that may want to eat them.
