Haven’t learned this yet but I think u would find the area of the white circle then subtract half of the circle and the 2 triangles so radius is 4 I think formula for circle is 3.14r^2 when u plug in radius u get 50.24 as the whole circle irk how to do the rest this might not help u sorry they don’t give u enough measurements to use my strategy sorry

Answer:

The missing information is attached in the picture below.

The company made $292.5 dollars in profit.

Step-by-step explanation:

Using the information provided by the table, we can calculate how much money was spent

1. gravel

12 and a half cubic yards * $15  = $187.5

2. tar/sealant

$0.15 per square foot * (75*20 ft^2) = $225

3. labor

$10 per hour * 25 hours = $250

4. insurance

fixed $45

We add all the expenses together

$(187.5 + 225 + 250 + 45)  = $707.5

The profit will be equal to

$1000 - $707.5 = $292.5

NO LINKS!! Similar figures are given. Use the given area to find the measure of XY.
Jobisdone [24]

Remember for any two polygons

Area of polygons is directly proportional to square of sides

So

  • BC²/XY²=135/15
  • 15²/XY²=9
  • (15/3)²=XY²
  • XY=5in

#35

  • HJ²/XY²=168/378
  • 8²/XY²=0.44
  • XY²=64/0.44
  • XY²=145.45
  • XY\approx 12+

If h is a linear function with h(1) = 10 and h(3) = -6, what is h(5)?
Ghella [55]

Answer:

h(5) = - 22

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that h is a linear function say, h(x) = ax + b ......... (1)

Now, given that h(1) = 10 and h(3) = - 6

Hence, we can write from equation (1), a(1) + b = 10, ⇒ a + b = 10 .......... (2)

And a(3) + b = - 6, ⇒ 3a + b = - 6 ........ (3)

Now, solving equations (2) and (3) we get (3a - a) = - 6 - 10

⇒ 2a = - 16

⇒ a = - 8

So, from equation (2), we get, b = 10 - a = 18

Therefore, the linear function is

h(x) = - 8x + 18

Hence, h(5) = - 8(5) + 18 = - 22 (Answer)
