Answer: (T - 3C)/(AC)

Work Shown:

T = C(3 + AB)

T = 3C + ABC .... distribute

3C + ABC = T

ABC = T - 3C ... subtract 3C from both sides

(AC)*B = T - 3C

B = (T - 3C)/(AC) .... divide both sides by AC

At an auto care shop, 70% of customers get an oil change for their car. Only 45% of customers get an oil change for their car an
kolbaska11 [484]

Answer:

31.5%

Step-by-step explanation:

If 70% of customers get an oil change, and 45% of those get their tires rotated, then this is a method I use to find the answers to these types of problems.

70% of customers, 45% of 70

One method that will help you so much is this simple equation: x% of y= y% of x. For example, if you need to find 3% of 50, the same value is given for 50% of 3, which would be 1.5. Using our given digits,45% of 70 is the same as 70% of 45.

A method that can add on to this is one I've come up with myself. If you divide your original number by 100, then multiply it by your given percentage, it will give you your wanted value, so if you plug in your values, 70/100, multiplied by 45, will equal 31.5%.

Answer: 17

EXPLANATION: Today vice presidents serve as principal advisors to the president, but from 1789 until the 1950s their primary duty was to preside over the Senate. Since the 1830s, vice presidents have occupied offices near the Senate Chamber. Over the course of the nation’s history, the vice president’s influence evolved as vice presidents and senators experimented with, and at times vigorously debated, the role to be played by this constitutional officer.
