This event took place in 610, in the cave of Hira on the mountain Jabal an-Nour near Mecca. According to the Islamic tradition, angel appeared before Muhammad and told him to read what he saw in the vision he had. Muhammad replied that he could not read, after incitement by an angel, he began to see the announcements.  It is believed that in the vision he received from the angels, he saw the words of God, which represent the beginnings of that which will later become the Quran.
