Several lines of evidence suggest that Mars once was habitable, and the Panspermia hypothesis states that life originated on Ear

th when it came from Mars on a meteorite. Imagine you are the lucky chief biologist on the first mission to Mars and discover what appear to be fossilized cells. You dutifully perform chemical analysis of the fossil. Which of the following would suggest that these were NOT, in fact, fossilized cells but non-organic structures?

Answer:

c. The presence of equal quantities of L- and D- amino acids.

Explanation:

All living entities have only L-type of amino acids in their cells from the origin of the life itself. Except a few bacterial cells walls may produce D-type. The presence of equal quantities is another whole new matter.

Why are there fewer organisms in each level as you go up the energy pyramid
SVETLANKA909090 [29]

Explanation: The energy pyramid describes how energy gets distributed through an ecosystem. The more there is of an organism on the energy pyramid, the more it gives overall to the ecosystem. The less there is of an organism, the less it gives to the ecosystem. Take the Floridian Everglades as an example. There is an abundance of sawgrass, and that makes up the foundation of the system, along with mangroves and such. But there are less of predators in the ecosystem because they only feed of of their prey like small mammals or fish. They never start the food chain, they end it.

Name 2 life processes the respiratory system carries out
stiv31 [10]

Answer:

Internal and external respiration

Explanation:

Internal respiration occurs inside your body and is an exchange of your body's gasses with its blood and tissues. External respiration is similar, but gasses are exchanged specifically with the lungs.

A more simple response could be breathing(ventilation) which is the process or air going in and out of the lungs.

I hope this helps you!
