Fallow and insight in sentence

English
1 answer:
Cerrena [4.2K]3 years ago

Thanks to the agricultural expert's insight, we decided to let the field lay fallow for a year to improve the soil quality - it was a success!

Fallow usually means that something is not fertile or being used to grow anything. Often it is seen used when talking about fields used to grow crops. Allowing a field to lay fallow for a certain amount of time can help it gain back some of the key nutrients in the soil that excessive farming may have depleted. Another word for insight is knowledge.

i really need help with my analysis on the goose girl by shannon hale did anyone here read it? pls answer if u did or didn’t
stich3 [128]
I didn’t read it myself but I’d search ‘Goose Girl Analysis’ on Google and and find something from an academic website like Cliffnotes or Shmoop. If you can’t find anything then you’ll have to look for a Prezi or Google Slide, or something like that. They won’t be as professional because they’re likely by students, but it’s better than nothing, and hopefully it helps get you started. x

Why would you save a doctor on a lifeboat if the ship started sinking. About a paragraph long
barxatty [35]
I would save a doctor on a lifeboat because if anyone was injured or hurt in the ship wreckage and you were in the middle of the sea, they could provide much needed emergency medical assistance.
I hope this helped! :-)

If a cyclist takes 4 hours to travel 72 miles, what is the cyclist’s average speed in miles per hour?
Nat2105 [25]
So the question asks for the cyclist's mph, which we'll call x. so if 4x = 72 then x = 72/4 so if we divide 72 by 4, x= 18 The cyclist travels at 18 mph
