People make mistakes, and we as human beings know that they can change and become a better person. As i have recently read in English class, most countries are involved in the United Nations. The United Nations Declaration of Human Rights states that in one of the articles humans shall not be subject to cruel or inhumane punishment. Stories about mass murder or school shootings show up, but people should still get a life. Although we have to do something, so i think having a person be in prison for the rest of their life is STILL better than the death penalty imo.
