Fixed-alternative and scale questions are what type of questions? a. potential b. closed-ended c. open-ended d. analytical
Rashid [163]

The type of question Fixed-alternative and scale questions are open-ended.

Because a question on a test or survey when multiple different answers are provided, and participants are asked to select the one that best fits their preference or the correct response. a good illustration of a fixed-alternative query. Sometimes, a closed question—which can also refer to any enquiry requiring a brief, specific response—is used to describe a fixed-alternative query.

A question that cannot be answered with a simple "yes" or "no" or with a fixed solution is said to be open-ended. Open-ended inquiries are framed as statements that call for a more in-depth response. The answer can be compared to knowledge that the questioner already has.

Write an essay on war and peace in about 150 words.
Sergio039 [100]

Answer:

According to Wikipedia "War is an intense armed conflict between states, governments, societies, or paramilitary groups such as mercenaries, insurgents, and militias. It is generally characterized by extreme violence, aggression, destruction, and mortality, using regular or irregular military forces. "

Peace is "... a concept of societal friendship and harmony in the absence of hostility and violence. In a social sense, peace is commonly used to mean a lack of conflict and freedom from fear of violence between individuals or groups."

In conclusion War and peace are opposites of each other and barely ever go well together in most cases. There are wars for peaces in many aspects and peace for war in others. For example a war to free women and children while making gender something that doesn’t mater, peace treaties and peace contracts to restrain any sort of war or disturbances in a certain place or country at any point.

NickiDaisyJordanTomGatsby For each character, write down five characterizing adjectives to describe what you know about them. Ch
Harrizon [31]

Nick: intelligent, naive, observant, pure, discreet

Daisy: vain, shallow, passionate, insensitive, selfish

Jordan: straightforward, smart, experienced, fun-loving, accepting

Tom: determined, brave, aggressive, deceitful, unfaithful

Gatsby: ambitious, naive, honest, pure-hearted, intense

Nick is new to the vanity of society, its shallowness and selfishness. He believes people to be good and he is discreet, not discussing other people's affairs.

Daisy, on the other hand, is skilled in the art of social climbing. She and her friend Jordan accept reality and society as they are and know how to make the best out of situations. Daisy only thinks of herself and what is best for her and her lifestyle. Jordan is a smart woman, but she has chosen fun over love, a superficial reality over profound dreams.

Tom and Gatsby are opposites. The former is a brute born rich. The latter is a gentleman born poor. Tom, just like his wife, Daisy, understands how the world works and how to make the best out of it. He's used to having anything he wants and knows how to keep the upper hand. Gatsby, though, is ambitious but innocent. Even though he is a criminal, he's inherently good and, just like Nick, believes there is goodness in everyone. That is precisely his mistake. He idolizes Daisy, failing to see her ugly selfish heart.
