This is because the dangers of self-medication go beyond the aggravation of the disease, as improper use of medication can cause addiction and even death.

It is quite common to have at home a supply of pills and pills to ease the most diverse pains. However, symptom relief after self-medication does not always mean that proper treatment has been provided. And much less that the problem has been resolved, as the practice may be masking more serious problems. In addition, people may develop drug addiction and end up taking more than necessary.
