Biology

Agriculture just became easier. It was much easier and safer than directly hunting, albeit, it wasn’t always as rewarding, but it was much more reliable. If you could hold off until the large crop was fully grown with hunting, you could rely on the large crop while waiting for the next one, and have a berth large growth. In other words, it was more reliable, easier, and could be very lucrative.

Once a prophage is present in a bacterial genome, viral genes are reproduced every time the bacterium multiplies. Expression of
oksian1 [2.3K]

Answer:

The virus will enter the lytic cycle.

Explanation:

When the viral genomes integrate into the host chromosome it is called a prophage. This virus genome replicates with the host genome and this cycle is called the lysogenic cycle.

In the lysogenic cycle expression of the viral genome does not occur because it is inhibited by repressor proteins. One of the repression protein is degraded by protease the viral DNA gets transcribed and produces viral proteins which are important to make new phages. These new phages then released from cells by lysing the bacterial cell. This cycle is called the lytic cycle.

So once protease gets degrade virus will ender into the lytic cycle.

In the chart, the organism Rr represents a genetically _____________ individual. A) heterozygous B) homogeneous C) homozygous D)
konstantin123 [22]
R is a dominant allele and r is a recessive allele. For the organism to be a homozygous individual, it would have to be either RR or rr. Since the organism is Rr (both alleles), it is heterozygous.

You can remember the difference between homozygous and heterozygous by the words' prefixes:
- the prefix homo- means "same"
- the prefix hetero- means "different"
