Explanation: The sale of organs is an emerging illegal global market. People can purchase organs for transplant in China, Pakistan, Colombia, the Philippines, and other countries. The WHO estimates that as many as 10,000 operations occurred in 2012 involving illegally obtained organs. In Pakistan, 40 percent of people in some villages now have only one kidney.
