The pace of the visual reading was much slower than the audio reading because the audio reading gave jump scares and sound effects to make the story go faster, rather in the visual reading you had to take your time and look for context clues to give hints to the reader. For the characters I feel that they were very similar. The only difference was that you actually got to hear the man’s voice in the audio rather in the visual you didn’t you just had to imagine it.
