Question 4
Anton [14]

Answer:

What the author is implying by the allusion to Albert Einstein is:

A. Like Einstein, bees are intelligent and can perform intellectual tasks.

Explanation:

Let's take a look at the very beginning of the passage:

they are easy to breed and are considered the “Einstein” of the insect world. These striped geniuses perform intellectual feats that cannot be taken for granted, even among mammals.

The lines above already tell us what we need to know. The allusion to Einstein was used as a way to say that bees are intelligent creatures. That is how allusions work. An author alludes to something or someone widely known so as to bring something to readers' minds. In this case, everyone who has ever heard of Einstein associates his name with intelligence. After the allusion, the author proceeds to list some of the amazing tasks and abilities bees have. Having that in mind, we can easily choose letter A as the best choice: Like Einstein, bees are intelligent and can perform intellectual tasks.

Why did student activism receive so much media attention?
Minchanka [31]
I would say that student activism received so much media attention because all of the above - because they were vocal, because they challenged the silent majority, because they were willing to question authority in an attention-getting manner, because their protests often ended in violence and disorder.

Can a devastating shark attack really lead to a better life. In 2-3 complete sentences, explain the term "posttraumatic growth"
Lena [83]

Well, it's a subjective thing. For me this type of attack ain't leads to a better life because after that it will take form of some kind of phobia which will inhibit further growth in that direction.

Posttraumatic growth is a kind of development take place after a sudden attack on life. In a very narrow cases this type of growth is seen but in most of them it is life threatening.
