Explain the purpose of using pathos in a speech.

Pathos ca be used to raise money for a charity group for people or animals. Take for example the commercials on television that show poor, abused animals and tell people the awful things that have happened to them. That right there would be an example of persuasion. People would have pity for the animals and give to the charity. Many politicians can use this to start a project to show people on how caring they may be. Pathos can be expressed through words, pictures, or a gesture from a human.
