Water is one of the basic constituent for life. It makes up 60 percent of the human body weight.By analyzing the human body we came to know that water is one of the building blocks in making up most of cells and tissues.

Now there are some specific functions of water inside the human body.As some of the functions are as below.

"Medium for transportation"

Water mainly acts as a medium for transportation of different materials inside a body. But, there are also some other operations for water to carry out inside human body.

"Lubrication of Joints"

Water helps in keeping the human body joints healthy and lubricated. The lubrication is important to reduce any friction during motion.

"Water Homeostasis"

Human body needs an equilibrium when it comes to the level of materials it posses. For that reason water homeostasis is carried out, in order to have an optimum amount of water inside human body.

Temperature Regulation

The optimum temperature for human body to operate well is about 37 degree centigrade which is about 98.6 Fahrenheit. Now water can regulate the temperature by initializing excessive sweating and through urinating or even avoiding the two operations mentioned before to avoid water loss.
