Answer

As we know that peptide bond is a type of bond present between amino acids, an is formed when one carboxyl group of one amino acid join with the amino group of another amino acids through the process of condensation and water is released in this process.

Types of peptides

Those peptide which consist of only one peptide bond and two amino acid is known as monopeptide. Dipeptide is composed of three amino acids and two peptide bond, while tripeptide is composed of four amino acids and three peptide bonds.

Hydrolysis

it is a type of reaction in which polymers are broken down into monomers with the help of water.

If a protein molecule which is composed of only four amino acids, it means that they require three peptide bond for holding them in protein. so three peptide bonds are present in its structure. To break these bond they need just three water molecules.

After sunset what can be expected with the cooling rate of soil compared
Margaret [11]
The soil will cool faster because it has a lower specific heat than water (even if it is wet).
The specific heat is a thermodynamic property. It is the quantity of energy required to raise a temperature by one degree Celcius (or Kelvin). By this property, you can measure how much energy a material need to raise its temperature (or how much energy it needs to lose by decreasing the temperature).

The specific heat of water is 1.001 Btu(IT)/(lbm °F).

The specific heat of a dry soil is 0.19 Btu(IT)/(lbm °F).
The specific heat of a wet soil is 0.35 Btu(IT)/(lbm °F).

Explanation:

  • setting up reliable water provisioning (e.g. by digging wells or placing long-distance water pipes)
  • stabilizing and fixating the soil
