Answer:

true

Explanation:

This “act to enforce the fifteenth amendment to the Constitution” was signed into law 95 years after the amendment was ratified. In those years, African Americans in the South faced tremendous obstacles to voting, including poll taxes, literacy tests, and other bureaucratic restrictions to deny them the right to vote. They also risked harassment, intimidation, economic reprisals, and physical violence when they tried to register or vote. As a result, very few African Americans were registered voters, and they had very little, if any, political power, either locally or nationally.

OlgaM077 [116]

Answer:

The fourteenth amendment was introduced to protect the laws of all Americans.

Explanation:

After the civil war, everything had been shattered into pieces, the war had left the country into undeniable dilemma about how to move ahead. There were certain laws which protect only certain Americans.

To compensate for the destruction and to adhere to the consequences of the war, a law was passed which did not give African-American laws so that the slaves could go back to being slaves and the destruction caused by the war could be restored.

To protect everyone's right the Americans were introduced to the fourteenth amendment. Which gave them the right to have ownership to land and it safeguarded the rights of its citizens.

What is the advantage of calculating the cost of debt after taxes?
spayn [35]

Answer:

the cost of debt reduces when calculated after taxes.

Debt is one of ways of financing and refers to the quantum of loans taken by a company at an agreed interest rate for a specified period of time. Loans require the borrower to pay interest at specified intervals.

The total interest paid on debt is a tax-deductible expense, and reduces the amount of taxable income on which tax is charged.
