If you are referring to colonist rebelling then yes because of the fact that they were being treated unequally in terms of taxes. Though there could have been different solutions i believe the american revolution caused many things majority are positive<span />

Well, if we're talking about the revolutionary war, then yes! Definitely! The colonies were trying to their hardest to break away from Great Britain, but Great Britain just refused to let go. It was unnecessary to keep holding on, especially with how unpractical it was with England all the way overseas. A happy ruling was not possible, as the kind refused to listen to the colonists demands and was not particularly concerned with their well-being. Ultimately, the colonists wanted freedom - that is why their ancestors came to the land in the first place, anyways. And so the war began.
