The Cretaceous Period was filled with dangerous predators. Two of the most feared hunters were the tyrannosaurs rex and the velo

ciraptor. The tyrannosaurs rex was one of the largest carnivores to ever walk the Earth. He was 20 feet tall and weighed seven tons. His jaws could shut with 3,000 pounds of force, enough to smash the bones of his prey. The velociraptor was very small compared to rex. Raptors only stood three feet tall and weighed merely 35 pounds. But the velociraptor was fast. Scientists think that raptors could run 24 miles per hour and turn on a dime. Both dinosaurs had eyes on the front of their heads, which helped them track prey. Both dinosaurs used their jaws to kill prey. The raptor had a secret weapon though: a retractable toe claw that he pulled out like a knife to slash at his prey. If these two dinosaurs had fought, it would be difficult to say which would win. However, the last raptor died ten million years before the first tyrannosaurs was born. So they probably never fought.

Based on this excerpt, it is reasonable to conclude that neither twin could die because they were immortal gods. The excerpt tells us that none of brothers died, and also it points out that they are the creators that once stepped on separate paths. They are still alive, but not in the sense that we are used to think. Each one has its duty and now they both look at the world from different sides.

Write a one page essay explaining how the electoral college works and also explains whether or not you believe the Electoral col
GalinKa [24]

Explanation:

The electoral college can be understood as a group of people chosen to represent voters and appoint the president and vice president every four years.

Therefore, each State has a number of delegates corresponding to and proportionate to its population and to the deputies and senators of that State, and so each delegate is represented by one vote and each candidate needs to obtain a number corresponding to 270 or more to be elected.

This system was created in conjunction with the American constitution and had the central objective of allowing greater control over voting due to the precarious communication at the time, and there is also a predilection for the electoral college by smaller states, which feel more represented in the use of this system.

However, there is still a very long delay in the counting of votes and perhaps this system may not reflect the will of the majority of the population, since even if a candidate has a greater number of total votes, he cannot win the contest if he does not win in the delegates.

It is interesting that there is a restructuring of this American electoral system, duly voted by the population to choose whether direct voting would be a faster and more democratic option.

An idea of modernization would be the adoption of a voting system by electronic ballot boxes, with high anti-fraud protection and greater speed and security in the counting of votes and results.

Problem statement plus the objective of Xenophobia
Stella [2.4K]
Xenophobia is the fear of the other, most typically of another ethnic group. One example of Xenophobia is the conflict between India and Pakistan, which is often also found on personal level, with Indians being wary of Pakistanis and the other way.

One objective of solving this problem would be to bring the two nations together and stress the similarities rather than differences.

PLEASE PLACE PLASTIC AND GLASS CONTAINERS IN SEPERATE BINS

please find one error!
Ivenika [448]

There are at least two errors in the sentence.

1. The word separate is spelled wrongly. It should read separate and not seperate.

2. There is no period at the end of the sentence.

The sentence should not be written in capital letters only either.
