English
1 answer:
garik1379 [7]4 years ago

Meursault is not grieving over his mother's death. This is against established societal traditions which dictate that one should grieve on death.

Explanation:

Meursault seems to be physiologically detached from the physical world. This is evident from his decision to not grieve on his mother's death.

The above decision went against the established societal norms. However, Meursault chose to be honest with his feelings. This act of Meursault's was interpreted as a cumulative threat by the society which branded him an outsider. His decision of pursuing such action cant be said immoral but amoral. This is due to his inability to differentiate between the good and the bad.

Irony - Irony refers to a situation that turns out to be the opposite of what is expected. Why is it ironic that Erica asks Lisa
charle [14.2K]

Answer:

Because she was expected to be intolerant of the Jews.

Explanation:

Erica was expected to have an intolerant stance towards Jews, where she would make disparaging remarks and that does not encourage a good feeling towards Jews. However, she comments positively, acknowledging that there are good and courageous Jews and asking if everyone is that way, or if only a few have this quality.

Find the vertex of the graph of the function.
f(x) = 4x^2 + 24x + 32
Zigmanuir [339]
4x^2 + 24x + 32 = 4(x^2 + 6x + 8)
 6/2 = 3 so:
 = 4( (x+3)^2 - 3^2 + 8 )

= 4( (x+3)^2 - 9 + 8)

= 4( (x+3)^2 - 1)

= 4(x+3)^2 - 4

vertex will be the minimum point, so: now,

4(x+3)^2 - 4 is at a minimum when x = -3 because it makes the stuff being squared equal to 0 so we know the x cord of vertex
is -3 the y cord is the constant on the end, -4

Hope this helps
