Hi!

<u>John Reynolds</u> was the first royal governor that served from 1754 to 1757.

Reynolds was a British man appointed to rule in Georgia, but his council became very agitated because of his leadership style. <u>By 1757, Reynolds was voted off and was sent back to England</u>.

To replace him, the board sent lieutenant governor, Henry Ellis.
