After 900 American ships were seized by Napoleon's Continental System (1806) and the British Orders in Council (1807), the U.S. released the Embargo Act of 1807, which prohibited American ships from sailing to any foreign ports and closed American ports to British ships. Some Americans were unhappy with the halting of overseas export/import, contributing to a meeting in 1814.
The Embargo Act was replaced by the Non-Intercourse Act of 1809, which lifted all embargoes on American shipping except for those bound for British or French ports. This was then replaced in 1810 by Macon's Bill Number 2. This lifted all embargoes but offered that if either France or Great Britain were to cease their interference with American shipping, the United States would reinstate an embargo on the other nation. Napoleon, seeing an opportunity to make trouble for Great Britain, promised to leave American ships alone, and the United States reinstated the embargo with Great Britain and moved closer to declaring war.

The statement that best describes African American experience in the military is "limited yet significant".
The African American experience in the military can be described as "limited yet significant" because the African Americans were not allowed to occupy combat positions BUT their importance in the transport part is crucial.
From 1942 to 1945, it was the policy of the U.S. government that people of Japanese descent would be interred in isolated camps. Enacted in reaction to Pearl Harbor and the ensuing war, the Japanese internment camps are now considered one of the most atrocious violations of American civil rights in the 20th century hopefully this help :)
1) Louis Riel assembled a revolution of people by himself. Basically by himself, he was able to become the leader of the Metis's government. He captured many fortifications, and got much of the land back. Riel also demanded many things for his people to be safe.
2) Louis Riel supported and wanted to help his people all he could. You could say that he died to protect them. He spent most of his life fighting for their rights. Forming the National Committee of the Metis (protecting their land), and forming the Metis Bill of Rights (protecting themselves).
3) Once the Government of Canada delayed the approval of the Bill of Rights, this is when Riel formed a provisional government. The Government of Canada say this as a revolution, so many people tried to attack Riel. Him and his people rebelled again the government just to get approval of their rights.
