Jamestown became the first permanent English settlement in America, founded in 1607. The main reason for establishing a colony in America was for economic investment. Jamestown Colony in the early seventeenth century was difficult because of the harsh climate and the hostile Indians. The settlers suffered from diseases like malnutrition, dysentery, typhoid and scurvy. English colonists held much focused on finding gold than giving much attention to growing crops. At last, there were no raids from the Spanish in Jamestown colony as it was established far away from other Europeans in the New World.
They formed the Continental Army and chose George Washington to command it. They asked colonies to give money for supplies and began printing currency.
They considered it a crime because it could seriously make someone monopolize the whole world and no one else can buy business and that lets them make their own prices as high as they want<span />
