East Germany built the Berlin Wall to put a permanent stop for the
people to go or get access to the West. This happened during the Cold War when
West Berlin was considered a getaway place for people who want to escape the
rule of communism and flee into democracy that it supported.
Ok so basically after the French and Indian war Great Britain didn’t allow the colonist to settle in the Ohio river are thingy, which was basically what they fought the war over, and since Great Britain was in a lot of debt they started taxing the colonists. So the colonists were being taxed and weren’t allowed to settle where they wanted too
He believed a government should protect the rights of citizens. He also thought man was inherently selfish; this why government should protect people. With that, he believed in checks and balances was necessary to prevent any group of people becoming more powerful than another.
