My hypothesis was the large bag would keep the egg the safest because there would be more surface for air resistance to slow the egg down. In the experiment the large bag did not crack the egg and it landed safely, the medium parachute cracked the egg but it was not broken, The small parachute broke the egg completely. The only egg that survived was the egg with the large parachute. the forces applied in the experiment where air resistance and gravitational force. The independent variable in the experiment was the 10ft drop the dependent variable was the egg breaking. the relationship between air resistance and surface area is that the more surface area the more air resistance.
