a)

20 shirts | 349 + 20(4.8)

40 shirts | 349 + 40(4.8)

60 shirts | 349 + 60(4.8)

(please simplify them yourself)

b) Tn = 349 + n(4.8)

c) (1000 - 349)/4.8 ............... rounded down.

Answer:

a) 20= $445

   40= $541

   60= $637

b) y = 349 + n (4.80)

c) 135 t-shirts

Step-by-step explanation:

Hi, to answer this question we have to analyze the information given:

Printing machine cost: $349

Cost per shirt: $4.80

a)

Number of T-shirts : 20

To find the cost we have to multiply the cost of each t-shirt by the number of t-shirts, and add the cost of the machine.

cost: $349 + (20x $4.80) = $445

number of T-shirts : 40

cost : $349 + (40x $4.80) = $541

number of T-shirts : 60

cost : $349 + (60x $4.80) = $637

b) y = 349 + n (4.80)

where:

y= total cost in dollars

n = number of T-shirts

c)  To calculate this we have to subtract the cost of the machine to the budget, and divide it by the cost of each t-shirt.

(1000-349 ) / 4.8 =135 T-shirts

Assume markup is based on cost. Find the dollar markup and selling price for the following problem. (Round your answers to the n
Bas_tet [7]

Answer:

<h2>The selling price of the product = $686</h2><h2>The markup of the selling price = 28.5 %</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that the markup percent is based on the cost of the product.

The cost of Burberry men's watch = $490

Markup percent = 40 %

= 40 % (490) = $196

The new selling price of the product = 196 + 490 = $686

The markup percent  of the selling price , (x%)686 = 196

x = 28.5 %

The markup is 28.5 % of the selling price
