Answer:

True.

Step-by-step explanation:

If a function is multiplicative then it hold following properties

1.f(1)=1

2.\f(a\cdot b)=f(a)\cdot f(b) hold for all a and b when  even a and b are not co-prime.

Let \sigma(n) is a function of  sum of divisor of n

\sigma (n)=Sum of divisor of n

If n=1 then

\sigma (1)=1

It is satisfied first property.

Suppose n=9

Then divisor of 9=1,3,9

Sum of divisor=1+3+9=13

Divisor of 3=1,3

Sum of divisors of 3=1+3=4

\sigma (9)=13

\sigma (3)\cdot \sigma(3)=4\cdot 4=16

Hence, \sigma (a\cdot b)\neq \sigma(a)\cdot \sigma(b)

Therefore, \sigma(n) is not a multiplicative function.

Hence, given statement is true.

If PQT = 60 and PQS = 3x + 6 find the value of x
Vesnalui [34]

Answer: m<PQT=60 and m<PQS=4x+14

m<PQS  and m<SQT  are same

m<PQT = m<PQS + m<SQT = m<PQS + m<PQS = 2m<PQS

m<PQT = 2m<PQS

So m<PQS =

Plug in the given information and solve for x

4x + 14 =

4x + 14 = 30 (subtract 14 on both sides)

4x = 16 (Divide by 4 on both sides)

x = 4

The value of x is 4

3x+17 less than or equal to 2(1-x)
MrRa [10]

Answer:

x ≤ -5

Step-by-step explanation:

According to given condition:

3x + 17 ≤ 2(1 - x)

By simplifying:

3x + 17 ≤ 2 - 2x

Adding 2x - 17 on both sides we get:

3x + 2x ≤ 2 - 17

5x ≤ - 15

Dividing both sides by 5 we get:

x ≤ -5

i hope it will help you!

stepladder [879]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

A histogram displays frequencies of ranges; for example, in the given picture, in the range [0, 2) (including zero, excluding two), there are zero values.

To find the number of values below 10, we can look at each range individually:

[0, 2) = 0

[2, 4) = 1

[4, 6) = 2

[6, 8) = 1

[8, 10) = 2

Adding these frequencies up will give us the number of values below 10:

0 + 1 + 2 + 1 + 2

6
