Answer:1)The type of one job influences his lifestyle

2)No

3) value of self services in an economy includes improved customer services, more convenient , reduced overhead cost, customer satisfaction, increase productivity.

Explanation:Type of job tells a lot about people lifestyle,eg a person who spend very long hours at work hardly have adequate rest and social life.

Contrasting between farmers, school teacher and factory worker, the factory workers are semi skilled, teachers skilled and farmer could be non skilled ,the school teacher schedule is always fixed 8am to 4pm for instance so they are more organized, they are mostly in formal attire while a factory worker run shifts and may be see in safety boots and overall and may have little or erratic schedules .the farmer on the other hand has no schedule ,has relaxed routine, wear casuals and not necessarily tidy, does things when willed as most are self employed.

Even in their eating habits, farmers eat more of fresh food, while teachers eat processed foods and factory workers are more likely to eat junks or snacks.

While a school teacher may be seen with books ,a factory worker may be seen with machines and equipment and farmers with tools ,tractors etc

2)An economy can only thrive on goods and services,as both are needed for survival,a service person need commodities like foods, clothes etc to survive while a good traders cannot do without services like transportation, banking etc

3)the value of self service include overhead cost reduction, self service involves customer serving themselves with limited involvement of a third party or vendor e.g payment at pos at gas station, uses of ATM for cash withdrawal etc.

The organization uses less resources like staff,PCs to run self service this fund can be invested in other areas.

Increase customer service occurs as a result of self service , customer can do their trasaction at their pace and convenience.

THE QUESTION:

You have been put in charge of the taxation of the Mars colony. You need to decide how to tax the citizens of the colony. Will you institute a progressive, regressive, or a flat tax on income? Will you institute excise taxes? If yes, what goods and services will you tax and why? Will you institute sales taxes, property taxes, or VAT on goods?

Explanation:

I am not good at these terms, but

I would not use a flat tax, as I know that it would make lot's of people's life harder, from the middle class, to lower class, that might put people in financial struggles. Instead, I would charge different taxes on people, judged on their income. That would help lot's, and would be a good deed. Also, I will also use property taxes, because most of the time, if you didn't have money to spare, you wouldn't spend it on a house, right? I might have sale taxes, which I would say depends on how much I need as a government on MaRs! :|)

Katen [24]

Answer:

$34,100

Explanation:

The computation of the net income is shown below:

Net income = Total revenues - Total expenses

where,

Total revenues

= Service revenue + sales revenue

= $145,200 + $27,500

= $172,700

And, the total expenses is expenses incurred i.e $138,600

So, the net income is

= $172,700 - $138,600

= $34,100

As we know that the income statement records only revenues and expenses and the same is considered

Number of workers employs = 30

Wages = $160 per worker

Average product of labor = 2

Marginal product of last labor hired = 8

Marginal cost refers to the additional cost that has occurred to produce the additional unit of a commodity.

On January 1, Year 2, the Accounts Receivable balance was $32,200 and the balance in the Allowance for Doubtful Accounts was $4,
AlexFokin [52]

Answer:

$28,200

Explanation:

The computation of the net realizable value of account receivable is shown below:

As we know that

Net realizable value is

= Account receivable balance - balance in the Allowance for Doubtful Accounts

= $32,200 - $4,000

= $28,200

we simply deduct the allowance from the account receivable balance so that net realizable value could arrive
