Answer with explanation:

Number of Marbles in the bag = 3 Yellow + 4 Red Marbles + 3 Purple Marble

                                   = 10 Marbles

Probability of an event

                   =\frac{\text{total favorable Outcome}}{\text{Total Possible Outcome}}

Probability of Drawing a Yellow Marble from the bag

                           =\frac{3}{10}

Probability of Drawing a Purple ball from the bag

                           =\frac{3}{10}

Probability of Drawing a Red Marble from the bag

                           =\frac{4}{10}

Also, Sum of total Probability of each individual event of a sample Space

  =\frac{3}{10}+\frac{4}{10}+\frac{3}{10}\\\\=\frac{10}{10}=1

Option B: The probability you select a purple marble is 3/10

Option C: P(Red) + P(Yellow) + P(Purple) = 1

Option D: As, there is no green marble , so probability of selecting a green marble is equal to 0.

Roger brought some sponges. The number of packages he bought was 14 less than the number of sponges per package. Roger bought 51
mihalych1998 [28]

Answer:

the number of sponges per package bought be 32.5

Step-by-step explanation:

Let us assume the number of sponges per package be x

So the number of packages he bought be x - 14

And, the overall he bought 51 sponges

So

the number of packages of sponges did roger buy is

x + x - 14 = 51

2x = 51 + 14

2x = 65

x = 32.5

So the number of sponges per package bought be 32.5

Masja [62]
The value of t that makes the factor e^(.032t) have the value of 2 can be found using logarithms.
  2 = e^(0.032t)
  ln(2) = ln(e^(0.032t)) = 0.032t
  t = ln(2)/0.032 ≈ 21.66

It would take 21.66 years for the cost to double.
