Corona Virus was proclaimed an international health hazard. It is now a pandemic. The world came to a stand still.Everyone was in panic mode. No one knew about tomorrow not that anybody usually knows that but anxiety had built up to toxic levels. The government started by shutting down religious places, recreational centres,both international and domestic flights were banned and then schools.

Teachers and students were now in constant alarm. Not really knowing when life would resume back to normal. Most of us saw this 'monster' as a bluff. Until the first month was over then the second, the third and five months down the line and still counting. E learning kicked in and at least brought back a feeling of normalcy.

The school calendar has been altered. Most of the school year's activities have been put aside. Parents are now taking up the teachers' role. Ensuring we are studying just as we should. Nothing like a normal class. Ain't it?

In Chapter 3, Nick had gone to Gatsby's party after being invited. Though he knows his neighbor's name is Gatsby and that he would often throw parties, he hadn't actually met the man himself. While there at the party, he was conversing with Jordan at a table where there was a "man of about [his] age". That man started a conversation with him, asking if he had been "in the Third Division during the war", to which Nick replied that he "was in the Ninth Machine-Gun Battalion." The man then declared that he "was in the Seventh Infantry until June nineteen-eighteen." Shortly after this encounter, Nick discovered that the man was Gatsby himself after Gatsby remarked, "I'm Gatsby."
