Everyone knows that a home should be "child-proof" to protect young babies and toddlers from illness and injury. Pets are also i

n danger from many common household sources which many people don't realize. Pets can chew and swallow seemingly safe things, resulting in disaster. It may seem perfectly harmless to toss a pet a grape or a raisin as a treat, but these can be very deadly. Although the exact cause is not known, gastrointestinal problems result after a pet ingests grapes or raisins. Kidney failure frequently occurs.Small amounts of Xylitol, an artificial sweetener used in sugar-free candy, chewing gum, cookies, and other baked goods, can cause low blood sugar and liver damage in dogs. All pet owners should educate themselves about these items and the effects that they have on pets. Every effort should be made to "pet-proof" homes to provide safe and healthy environments for pets. Short Answer-The author's purpose in writing the article is to Inform the reader about dangers to pets in a home and how to prevent danger.

Proof-It must be informative since they don't recognize a counter arrangement if they did that would be persuasive. It's not telling a story there's not a series of events arising that must be solved by a character. You can tell it's informative because it is trying to tell you something as the reader about a problem in the world.

so basically there are 3 types Informative,Persuasive, and entertaining. persuasive is trying to convince you of something informative is trying to tell you something entertaining is telling a story.

Correct me if I'm wrong but i believe the authors purpose is telling you to be cautious with your personal belongings even when you think it's child proof. Your dogs are still in danger

Anna35 [415]
Yes and no, a scale can help by telling if you are losing or gaining weight but the downside is that it can also discourage you. It can make you feel like you are not making any progress at all or it can make you feel like you have gained weight.

Tell me a reason why gun violence should be taught in schools?
likoan [24]
I say gun violence should be taught in school because it allows students to be aware of the type of things that could possibly happen. Gun violence is one of the top incidences that take people’s lives in general. It’s important to understand why and how these things happen to protect ourselves and be better informed.
