Answer:

  280.6 square units

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula for the area of an n-gon with radius r is useful here:

  A = (n/2)r²sin(360°/n)

For your hexagon (n=6) with radius r=6√3, the area is ...

  A = (6/2)(6√3)²sin(360°/6) = 324sin(60°) = 162√3 ≈ 280.6 . . . square units

So according to the problem, the tax should be calculated using the bill.

So 5.5% equals to 0.055.

Then multiply 0.055 and 74.98.

Thus resulting in 4.1239 and when rounded, the answer should be 4.12, C

What is the volume of the right rectangular prism?
Ivahew [28]
I saw the image that should have been included in this problem.

It was a rectangular prism. It can also be identified as a right prism because its bases are aligned one directly above the other and its lateral faces are rectangular.

The image has the following measurements:
length = 7 inches
width = 5 inches
height = 4 inches

volume = length * width * height
v = 7 in * 5 in * 4 in
v = 140 in³  Choice B i believe.
