Answer:

The reason why these stars seem so small compared to our Sun is:

B) Our Sun is much closer to Earth than the Seven Sisters.

Explanation:

The reason behind this is that the sun is at a distance of the earth of 0.000016004 light-years. While the seven stars are at a distance of 400 light-years. Making them so far away that their size is reduced because in physics object size is altered by the perspective of the watcher or observer. Meaning that a ball the size of a car can be seen by our eyes as small as a bean if it is at the proper distance.

Describe how a lysosome enzyme would normally be created, including the steps involved and the organelles that contribute to the
natta225 [31]

Answer:

Lysosomal enzymes are produced in the ER and transported to the Golgi complex to be finally incorporated into acidified vesicles

Explanation:

Lysosomes organelles are generated by the fusion of vesicles from the Golgi complex with endosomes. This organelle contains more than 50 types of hydrolytic enzymes capable of breaking down different macromolecules. Lysosomal enzymes are produced in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER), and then they are exported to the Golgi complex, where mannose-6-phosphate (M6P) label is added to be finally packaged into acidified vesicles. Mutations in the genes that encode for lysosomal enzymes are known to produce Lysosomal Storage Diseases (LSD) including Tay-Sachs disease.

Using what you know about the term mosaic, write a paragraph describing another biological mosaic
alexdok [17]

The fluid-mosaic model describes the plasma membrane of animal cells. The plasma membrane that surrounds these cells has two layers (a bilayer) of phospholipids (fats with phosphorous attached), which at body temperature are like vegetable oil (fluid). And the structure of the plasma membrane supports the old saying, “Oil and water don’t mix.”

Each phospholipid molecule has a head that is attracted to water (hydrophilic: hydro = water; philic = loving) and a tail that repels water (hydrophobic: hydro = water; phobic = fearing). Both layers of the plasma membrane have the hydrophilic heads pointing toward the outside; the hydrophobic tails form the inside of the bilayer.

Because cells reside in a watery solution (extracellular fluid), and they contain a watery solution inside of them (cytoplasm), the plasma membrane forms a circle around each cell so that the water-loving heads are in contact with the fluid, and the water-fearing tails are protected on the inside.
