In Deuteronomy, Moses explains the intent of the Ten Commandments as an inward motivation toward godly behaviour in the civil, social, and ceremonial life of Israel.

Further Explanation:

The person should love the Lord and the God in which the person believes with all your heart, soul and might. There is a Book of Deuteronomy which is the fifth book of the Jewish Torah. It is also known as Devarim. “The words of the Moses”. The book contains 30 Chapters that have three sermons.

These sermons are delivered to Israelites by Moses before they enter Promised Land. First sermon recounts forty years of the wilderness wanderings that ends up with an exhortation to serve the law. Third is referred to as Law of Moses. The second sermon reminds Israelites of the necessity to follow Yahweh. The laws are given on which possession of land depends. The third sermon offers the comfort that if Israelites were proved unfaithful then they will lose the land.

The final chapters i.e. Chapter 31 to 34 includes the Song of the Moses, Blessing of Moses. The narratives are recounted bypassing the mantle of leadership from Moses to the Joshua. Then finally the death of Moses on the Mount Nebo.

The Ten Commandments are incredible supporters of the religious philosophy of work. They depict the basic prerequisites of Israel's agreement with God and are the center rules that represent the country and crafted by its kin. Moses' article starts with the most noteworthy explanation of the book, “Hear, O Israel: The Lord is our God, the Lord alone. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might” (Deut. 6:4-5).
