This answer has to be 15 or less because the two shorter sides added together have to be longer than or equal to the longest side. It also has to be longer than 3 because otherwise, the sides wouldn't reach each other. So, therefore, the side must be longer than three centimeters, but shorter than 15.

-- If the third side is longer than 15 cm, then the 6 and the 9 together
can't reach its ends.

-- If the third side is shorter than 3 cm, then IT can't reach the ends
of the 6 and the 9.

-- So the third side must be longer than 3cm AND shorter than 15 cm.

                     3cm < S < 15cm

2/11 + (4/11 + 1/11) = (2/11 + 4/11) + 1/11<br>Solve with step
aniked [119]

Answer:

\frac{7}{11}  =  \frac{7}{11}

Step-by-step explanation:

\frac{2}{11}  + ( \frac{4}{11} +  \frac{1}{11} ) = ( \frac{2}{11}  +  \frac{4}{11} ) +  \frac{1}{11} \\   \frac{2}{11}  +  \frac{5}{11}  =  \frac{6}{11}  +  \frac{1}{11}  \\  \frac{7}{11}  =  \frac{7}{11}  \\

16 students joined the soccer club. 5/8 of those students were boys. How many boys joined the soccer club?
olga55 [171]
5/8 is also equal to 10/16, so out of 16 students, 10 were boys. Multiply the numerator and denominator by 2 to find 10/16, and that is how you find the answer.

The height of a soccer ball is kicked from the ground can be approximately by the function.
stira [4]

Answer:

1 second

Step-by-step explanation:

y = -16x² + 32x

y = -16(x² - 2x)

y = -16(x² - 2(x)(1) + 1² - 1²)

y = -16(x - 1)² + 16

Max height is when (x-1) = 0

So x = 1
