Both sunflowers will have same height after 8 weeks

Step-by-step explanation:

Let w be the number of weeks

Then

a sunflower with a height of 8 cm that grows at a rate of 3 1/2 cm per week

8+3\frac{1}{2}w\\=8+\frac{7}{2}w

And

a sunflower with a height of 10 cm that grows at a rate of 3 1/4 cm per week.

10+3\frac{1}{4}\\=10+\frac{13}{4}w

In order to find the number of weeks when both plants will have same height we will put the expressions for both equal

So,

8+\frac{7}{2}w = 10+\frac{13}{4}w

Subtracting 8 from both sides

8-8+\frac{7}{2}w = 10-8+\frac{13}{4}w\\\frac{7}{2}w = 2+\frac{13}{4}w

Subtracting 13/4 from both sides

\frac{7}{2}w-\frac{13}{4}w = 2+\frac{13}{4}w-\frac{13}{4}w\\\frac{14-13}{4}w = 2\\\frac{1}{4}w = 2

Multiplying both sides by 4

w = 8

So,

Both sunflowers will have same height after 8 weeks

मिनधन १.. 18,900 हुन्छ भन सावा रकम पता लगा
Vladimir [108]

Answer:

Solution given:

principal [P]=P

time [T]=4 years

Rate [R]=13%

compound amount=18900

Simple interest=P-18900

we have

simple interest=\frac{P*T*R}{100}

P-18900=\frac{P*4*13}{100}

100P-1890000=52P

48P=1890000

P=1890000/48

P=39375

the sum that amounts =Rs 39375

Create an example of a situation where there is a negative cash flow.
dimaraw [331]

Answer:

when say your expenses are $400 a month but your income is only $350 a month that is -$50 every month so in that case you aren't getting a positive cash flow (which would be making more money than your expenses) So you must be getting a negative cash flow in which you are losing money and going into debt.

Hope this Helps :)
