How does Notre-Dame-du-Haut by Le Corbusier exhibit sculptural qualities?

Arts
1 answer:
shepuryov [24]3 years ago

Answer:

Le Corbusier gave it scriptural qualities by making it almost like a church. The Notre-Dame-du-Haut has three chapels found under towers and also contains an altar.

At the time, Corbusier was not interested in something known currently as a "Machine Age" so instead went with, what people can assume to be, a more religious feel. This is probably due to the church that was the previous building before this structure was created.
