Answer:

D “. . . many a time afterwards, in the course of his life, shuddered at seeing how much inhumanity there is in man, how much savage coarseness is concealed beneath delicate, refined worldliness . . .”

Explanation:

This sounds more better for what the question is asking about because the other ones aren't helping out the question at all and it doesn't make sense. So overall, it's D and i think it will be correct.

Answer:

1_ spatial order

Explanation:

Spatial order is a description of things as they appear when observed. It also describes the location of things in space. For example, they could be located up or down, before or after, behind or in front, etc. Objects are also vividly described so that readers can relate to them. The writer makes use of this order in the passage above. These are seen in expressions such as:

a dulI, dark, and soundless day last autumn

I looked upon the scene before me- the mere house, the simple landscape features of the domain, ...

Descriptions such as the above help the reader to have a better visualization of the scene.

Answer:

Gyeongbokgung (Korean: 경복궁; Hanja: 景福宮), also known as Gyeongbokgung Palace or Gyeongbok Palace, was the main royal palace of the Joseon dynasty. Built in 1395, it is located in northern Seoul, South Korea. The largest of the Five Grand Palaces built by the Joseon dynasty, Gyeongbokgung served as the home of Kings of the Joseon dynasty, the Kings' households, as well as the government of Joseon.

Gyeongbokgung continued to serve as the main palace of the Joseon dynasty until the premises were destroyed by fire during the Imjin War (1592–1598) and abandoned for two centuries. However, in the 19th century, all of the palace's 7,700 rooms were later restored under the leadership of Prince Regent Heungseon during the reign of King Gojong. Some 500 buildings were restored on a site of over 40 hectares.[1][2] The architectural principles of ancient Korea were incorporated into the tradition and appearance of the Joseon royal court.

In the early 20th century, much of the palace was systematically destroyed by Imperial Japan. Since the 1990s, the walled palace complex is gradually being restored to its original form. On January 21, 1963, it was designated as a cultural property.[3] Today, the palace is arguably regarded as being the most beautiful and grandest of all five palaces. It also houses the National Palace Museum and the National Folk Museum within the premises of the complex.

What can make individuals concerned about environment ?1 (A) lessons on environment (B) strict application of law (C) developmen
Blizzard [7]
I would say C is most likely the correct answer because all of the other options already exist and don’t work as well as we would like them to, but if you instill values in people, it is more likely to stick with them:)
