I felt sad, how could a mother abandon their baby like that. Once the welfare department and police arrived, I gave them the baby and the box. Every night, every day since then I prayed and hoped the baby would find a safe home. And a few days later, I received a call from the police saying they found a safe home for the baby. They praised me, saying that if I hadn’t found the baby, it would have been dead. Since then, I always do acts of kindness for other people.
