Executive Order 9066 is the forced relocation of all Japanese Americans in America into internment camps during World War II. After the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, many Americans were suspicious of the Japanese in America, and Roosevelt thought that they could be a potential threat. He justified the order by claiming that they were dangerous to national security.
